I've ended my EDC3100 professional experience! It was a 15 days being at the site and I met new people. The experience was amazing! I am really thankful for my site coordinator and my mentor for being supportive of me.
Although the school do not have digital technologies particularly for the students, my mentor has allowed me to use my personal digital tools with the students. Both my mentor and site coordinator was excited to see me integrate ICT into lessons. The school do not practice integrating ICT into lessons however they supported me to do so for my professional experience.
I observed my mentor teaching, took over the class when my mentor had an emergency and even proceed a lesson plan prepared by my mentor.
For the final week (week 3 of professional experience), there are various things that I had to be aware of. One of it is to get my mentor to mark me a Pass/ Fail via InPlace using her account. It was a hassle as my mentor had some issues with her account. I was really nervous when things did not go smoothly as I had planned in my mind. However, we managed to pull it of.
This table was the one that helped me to keep track of the feedbacks that I need to get.
I feel some amount of relieve that professional is over. I also do feel happy to read Elise's post on finishing her professional experience!
A little bit more to go till the due date!
