Digital technologies and CLEM

There are various digital technologies that can be used for teaching and learning. The digital technologies each functions differently and I may not know how to use them all.

However, CLEM the acronym can help teachers to know how to use digital technologies to amplify and transform student's learning.

CLEM is the acronym for community, literature, examples and model.

Community
People coming together sharing their experience using a particular digital technology. We can seek help and ask other people to help us operate a tool.

Literature
There are research done about certain digital technologies on its usage. Academic literature are done and shared so other people can refer to. Their research paper can be a source of us teachers to know pros and cons.

Examples
I myself sometimes operate a digital technology via examples. Either I observe other people operating it or I go online to read steps on how to operate it. I also like to go on YouTube to learn how to work out a digital technology that I am not familiar with.

Model
Get to know the digital technology via the model itself. Go through the manual and learn to operate the technology.

Above are my write up on what I understand of CLEM.
